Definitely. My dad had it really bad when he was my age. My mom had it pretty good when she was my age, but I still have it better because she made sure that I had it better.

Yes, we're better off than both sets of parents at the same age. They were both struggling to raise us while we have a brand new home, internet, disposable cash and the hope that we can enable our own children to go one better than us.

Yes. When my parents were 20, Mom had a newborn (me!) and was living by herself four states away from the nearest family, and Dad was overseas in the Marines. I'm doing pretty well.
