They're allowed to ask nicely...no problem with that. But now it has bee asked it has become a fact that changing their name or not reflex what the club thinks of the traditions of the Oglala Sioux. So they're actually have the choice of showing that they show those Indians respect..or not.

Maybe they should pay the tribe a cut of the profits for the use of the name.

Nope, it's bullsh*t. Reminds me of when my school had to change it's mascot, "the warriors" because it was represented by this indian chief picture. Some Native American organization said it was "offensive" so we have this dorky eagle now instead. Complete crap...

Bass-rocker, did you know that the Native Americans did the exact same thing to other tribes before the Americans even got there? We weren't the only wrong ones.

That's ridiculous!!! The words 'Crazy Horse' are English words....I'm sure the guy who was named Crazy-Horse wasn't actually named that....it just translates into English that way.

It's incredibly disrespectful and I think they probably *should* change their name, but they shouldn't be forced to change their name.

This is just stupid. It's like Mexican Americans waving the flag and yelling "Viva Mexico" or something. Real Mexicans don't do that. Mexicans coming from actual Mexico who witness that sort of silliness find it embarrassing. It is almost a sure thing that the actual guy this Crazy Horse club was named for would have loved it, or at the very least been amused. This is just an example of Americans showing off whatever ethnic group they want to identify themselves with, just to say, "Look at ME! I'm an INDIAN! WOO HOO!" That's all this is. Crazy Horse himself (if that was, in fact, his real name) would not have cared. I don't care what Alfred Red Bull (or whatever HIS name is) says, Crazy Horse would have dug it. Plus, it's in FRANCE! What do THEY care??

Yea, they should change their name to "The Incredibly Politically Correct Strip Joint We Hope Doesn't Offend Anybody". *eyeroll*
