Since I got bitched at for moshing and swing dancing at my school, I think they should consider banning dry humping at dances. Then noone will be free to dance at all.

I think that kind of "dancing" is gross to watch. It should be banned.

I don't go to the school dances at my school because of the music and the gross dancing, so I don't really care about it in that sense. But my little sister is going to go to dances next year and I certainly don't want her dancing like that.

I'd say no because then kids will go do things like plan an "alternative homecoming dance," as mentioned in the article, which will most likely be largely (if not completely) unsupervised.

It is banned, but kids doing it never get caught.

i just came back from a college military formal and there was absolutely no freak dancing allowed! i was suprised, and a little relieved, because my dancing skills have yet to be as good as elaine's on seinfeld.

Yes - if by 'school' you mean highschool & under. It's totally inappropriate for kids that age, sorry, but won't budge on that one. If you mean by college dances, etc. - then no.

whether they ban it or not, it will still happen. i'm not for or against it, but banning won't do anything.

It was banned at my school. I could get kicked out of the dance if you were caught. After a warning of course.

It should definitely be banned. If kids want to dry hump they need to do it in private.
