I actually do think the rich have more freedom because they have money and in a "pure" capitalist society such as America(which as a liberal I think there isn't enough social programs and not enough funding for current social programs),that is a thing we definetly need to work on. Ever since the Revolutionary war,the elite minority have had power in government and had much more rights than the working poor majority.

Of course. The poorer you are the less freedom you have. Too poor to own a car, then your limited to where the bus route can take you and how far you can walk. Too poor to have insurance, then if you have a serious illness you may just die. Hospitals are only responsible to stabalize you.

Of course they do! They get away with more, too, because they can buy their way out of uncomfortable circumstance. We all have the same freedoms, but some of us just don't have the means to persue it.

I sure do. They can buy their way out of just about anything if they have enough money. they can also afford more luxuries and better things.

I do believe they have more freedom, its to buy what they want, not get out of most things. I believe that social programs work by making everbody poor and therefore equal.

yah they do, but its like that pretty much everywhere. the more money you have, the better off you are in general. it may not buy you happiness, but it makes life a hell of a lot easier

Of course. I'd rather float around on a yacht than go to my grueling job.

I don't think a black guy from Detroit could have gotten away the way OJ did. MOney is important in the US when it comes to Health care and Justice.
