Who would want to eat more than one of them anyway? It sounds gross.
18 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 8/15/04 - 8:55:40 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, let people decide for themselves whether or not they want to be obese.

18 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 8/16/04 - 5:01:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
"No, let people decide for themselves whether or not they want to be obese."

Yeah, thats worked well so far...

18 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 8/27/04 - 12:19:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
What do you mean Floor Demon? It's peoples choice if they want to eat, we can't stop fat people from pigging out.
18 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 8/27/04 - 12:32:47 PM EST (GMT-5)
I wonder how they keep track of it. If some fatass really wants more than one, he can just send a friend to get another.

I say if someone wants to eat something that fattening and nasty, let the pigs do it

18 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Friday 8/27/04 - 12:41:19 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes and obesity is becoming a rising problem, and there is call for the government to do something about it.

People can't choose, apparently they're too stupid.

18 yrs ago - Tuesday 9/7/04 - 12:41:19 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's called natural selection. If some moron has a propensity to eat 10 of these things a day, maybe he/she is supposed to be dead.
18 yrs ago - Friday 9/10/04 - 7:35:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
Thats disgusting!
18 yrs ago - Friday 9/10/04 - 7:37:11 PM EST (GMT-5)
Oh man, I wanna try one someday!
18 yrs ago - Friday 9/10/04 - 7:42:01 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, but I honestly can't imagine why anyone would want to eat it in the first place.
17 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Thursday 10/28/04 - 10:55:21 PM EST (GMT-5)
That thing looks kinda small.
17 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Thursday 10/28/04 - 10:57:57 PM EST (GMT-5)
Oh man that's wow...I bet it's really good.
17 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 10/29/04 - 7:18:52 AM EST (GMT-5)
Rules of this kind contribute to the "Nanny State". This is where the governments take it upon themselves to go overboard on the PC approach and assume that we all need looking after, instead of just letting us get on with what we like to eat and what we enjoy. Personally I don't like pork sausages, but if anybody wants to eat this five times a week...then let them.
17 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 10/29/04 - 7:33:25 AM EST (GMT-5)
Let people make their own decisions!
17 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 10/29/04 - 9:40:07 AM EST (GMT-5)
i wouldnt mind trying one

think its up to the people to decide how many they should have!

17 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 10/29/04 - 9:47:01 AM EST (GMT-5)
Wait, how can people sue if there is an externally imposed limit? I think someone should sue for impeding people's right to sue later for allowing us to ruin our own health.
17 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Friday 10/29/04 - 9:59:07 AM EST (GMT-5)
No if people want to be fat and unhealthy let hem.
17 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Friday 1/14/05 - 6:32:10 PM EST (GMT-5)
i think the shop should put a warning up yes, but to limit the sale of them.. it's people's choice at the end of the day.
17 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Friday 1/14/05 - 6:38:41 PM EST (GMT-5)
Thank you, Floor demon, for coming clean: people are too stupid to figure things out, so the government should do it for them. It's what libs like you really want, isn't, a dictatorship where your PC selves are in control. It's not about free speech, it's about *your* speech.

I myself, beleive in freedom. Freedom to succeed or fail. That's what the US is all about.

17 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Thursday 1/27/05 - 7:07:20 AM EST (GMT-5)
I think there should be laws against this....while I am against a nanny state I would rather the taxes I pay for a free health system benefit those who really need it ie cancer sufferers and so forth than let them suffer at the expense of fat people or people who smoke so unless people start making the 'right' choices they deserve to die
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Thursday 1/27/05 - 1:54:22 PM EST (GMT-5)
I think it is a great idea. It coveres them from a lawsuit when some obesse person decides to sue because he didn't know eatingf one of these everday for lunch will kill him. From what I understand, this is not a goverment mandated thing, but a buisness tring to cover its self. If that is true the whole concept of a nanny state does not apply here. The goverment thinks the food is stupid but they are not legislating it, unless I read the article wrong.
17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Thursday 1/27/05 - 2:01:57 PM EST (GMT-5)
"so unless people start making the 'right' choices they deserve to die"

Sounds like a real winner newtownninja.

I think the people of this business are free to sell or not sell whatever they feel like. I think the warning is good. That little thing looks deceptive so it's a good thing they put it on there, some people may not have assumed so many calories from such a small thing.

17 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Thursday 1/27/05 - 2:11:53 PM EST (GMT-5)
you know, if something is that bad for you its gonna make you sic, its gonna cause heart problems and ur going to impose on the healthcare system...our tax dollars our being wasted because people can't control themselves
