Yep. We had it in my intermediate and high school. I liked it. Then again, I like watching the news.

Yes, and it really annoys me. Luckily, my homeroom this year had a broken TV, so I never saw it.

Oh yes, it is EVIL. It's a pathetic excuse for corporations to get ads to kids in SCHOOL for Christ's sake, there's no escaping them anymore at all. It disgusts me to no end.

It's been outlawed in most of Canada. The only "value" it has is to vaguely associate places with terrorism.

We had it in my high school, waaay back in 1992 we got it, that was my sophomore year. I liked it because I thought Anderson Cooper was hot and, with video announcements, it was a half hour out of my morning to sit and do homework I should have done the night before.

I forgot about the commercials though! There were the same Snickers commercials every single day. It really was just to give companies the opportunity to target their most coveted demographic. But we got free cable and TVs in every room so it was sweet, a lot of teachers watched TV all day

It's so stupid that people even want TVs in classrooms. Some of them act like no one has ever been able to teach without them.

I don't think we did. We did have daily news with kids from our school broadcasting from the library, I think.

ew no. We had KHS-TV, our own TV program for the morning. Who need some lameass Channel One? We were updated on things that were important to us, like pep rallies and the latest scores of our team's football games.

We have it everyday--seventh period right after class. Sometimes, the news is an okay tidbit. And other times we don't even watch it because our teacher likes to work through it until the bell rings. So, I don't care about it anyway.

My little sister has it at school. She always talks to me about what she "SAW ON CHANNEL ONE" that day. I think its great...I'm glad to see a thirteen-year-old actually interested in current events.

yes, we had it in middle school and you had to watch it because at the end of the week you had a quiz on what was on it for the entire week.
