Not really, because everyone IS unique. But if you think you are unique BECAUSE (insert reason here, such as "I like backstreet boys", or "everyone else is fake punk but I'm real punk" or "I can make babies at age tweleve") then yes. That's conceited. You're allowed to know you're unique, but not HOW.

I think the word "conceited" get overused and misused, especially by adolescents. It's not the same as arrogant, and is often used to discredit confidence and self-esteem. Realizing that you're unique isn't an assessment of importance. It's just a fact that can have positive and negative implications. So, totally get over yourself  |
