Not possible for me. If you turn up to work drunk you get sent home without pay. It's a safety issue. You can't opperate, or work near, heavy machinery drunk.

I've done it a few times. We are supposed to get sent to the hospital for drug testing and breathalizer if they suspect alcohol/drugs in your system...hasn't happened yet.

If I absolutely had to. Most likely, I'd just call off.

Or, here's an idea, avoid getting high or drunk before work.

It depends on the job. I used to always have to smoke before going to work when I was a cashier or doing data entry or some other crappy job. But I wouldn't do it now at my current job.

When I was a line cook I was always high. Now as a big time boss guy I am allways sober. Damn I miss my old job.

First of all, I don't drink or do drugs and second, even if I did, I wouldn't put my job on the line. That's just stupid.

No, I would probably be hungover. Luckily, I don't drink so I wouldn't ever be in that situation.

I have, but I should have just called in sick. A girl I used to work with came in one day rolling her ass off. She didn't last too long.

I've gone to work hungover but never drunk. I mean what time would you have started drinking or how long were you drinking that you would be drunk getting to work in the morning? Of course I've been drunk to a few of my afternoon classes at university before, but that's just whenever I forget my class schedule and start drinking around lunchtime. I never intentionally did it

I don't know about work, but I've been high for a few classes, never drunk though.
