I can't be sure...I am not sure what is actually a memory and what I created from looking at pictures from when I was very young.

Yep I remember when I was just turning 2 and my little brother was born. I can remember turning and seeing my mom walk down the hall to show me which one he was. Before that, nada

"Granddaddy, what would happen if I put water in my milk? Why? Please? It's my birthday." - third birthday, to be specific. I have no idea why I remember saying that and nothing else of that day.

I definitely have memories from when I was about 2 years old, and I've heard that kids start remembering things when they are between 18 months and 2 years old. oh, and Cryn's got a good point about remembering stuff based on pictures

I remember a few events from my Grandparent's house in Ireland... sitting on the step and the door closing on my sister and I and howling because we thought we were trapped outside. I must have been about three. My sister remembers vividly travelling to his funeral by plane when she was two years old. I was three years six months then. I can remember standing watching the mail being loaded onto the ship with my mother and seeing a plane fly over and saying that maybe my aunt and sister were on board.

I have three very clear memories from before I was four, and many that I suspect fit into that time slot but I don't know for sure.

I remember things from when I was around 2 or 3. I have talked to my sisters and they were not picture memories but real ones.

my 1st memory is lying in my crib. My mother says that from my description od the window I was between 9 months and a years old. There were no pic's so I had no way of knowing. I just told her a few years ago and she was really surprised.

I have two vivid memories before I was four years old. I can't tell you what happened before or after, but I clearly remember the moment. No photos were being taken at the time either. Some people do have singular memories of early life, such as looking up from their cribs or people smiling down on them. It's not unusual.

I can remember some things from living in North Carolina, and we moved away from there when I was two and a half, so yes. I can remember opening the refrigerator and seeing too much zucchini and being upset. And when my dad brought me a toy gas station for my cars. And I can remember trying to play with my neighbor's tricycle, which was much cooler than mine because it was pink, and that a house near ours had some lawn ornaments of toads sitting on mushrooms. So I guess I can think of a lot of stuff.

Yes, although I wonder how much of it has been triggered by relatives' stories. In that case, they might not actually be memories.

I wouldn't buy the "looking up from his crib" thing, but I remember flashes of busting my head open at 3 years old.

I'm sure I do, but really I can't tell the difference between memories when I was 2, 3, 4, or 5. So I'll remember something, but I can't be sure about when it happened.
