Not always - caution is good but if you are TOO cautious it can be just as bad as if you weren't paying attention

Nope. Someone going at 24mph causes people to overtake them in the same lane, and we all know that isn't good.

No, because if you're too cautious, that means you're jumpy, and if you're jumpy on the road you're going to cause an accident. You need to just chill out! I just take things as they are on the road.

Not always, becuase you may go really slowly as a result, and thus never really improve your driving skills.

Never! There are too many way too cautious people on the road holding up traffic because they are afraid to drive in it.

They're often the least experienced drivers.

not necessarily they hesitate, drive too slowly, etc. and can be bad drivers as a result

cautious doesn't mean slow or jumpy. It means aware, and ready. They're going to be the defensive drivers. And best.

Definetly not!!! In Chicago, you can't have any fear and being overly-cautious means you have a LOT of fear

I think that being aware of other drivers is more important than being cautious....people who pay no attentions to others usually cut people up and cause acidents. As others have mentioned, you can be too cautious and that is just as bad because it can irritate other drivers.

People who are too carful make me nervous. When in the city it takes them forever to get anywhere.

The best driver is the one that's not in my way. When I think of the most cautious driver, I think of the woman who made a string of cars sit through 4 lights the other day because she was too cautious to make a left turn on yellow.

Yes you can be to cautious. If you don't do the speed limit you can cause all sort of accidents. Yes, you can get a ticket for going to slow. Your inpeeding the flow of traffic.

if by 'best driver' you mean in terms of technical ability in controlling the vehicle, then definitly not. If you mean 'best driver' in terms of less accidents, then probably yes.
