Do you think it`s wrong to modify food in a non-genetic way, like these `Mickey Mouse` cucumbers? Mickey Mouse-inspired cucumbers are a new menu feature at The Garden Grill Restaurant at Epcot Center. The cucumbers are grown hydroponically in greenhouses behind the restaurant. When each cucumber is three inches long, a Mickey mold is attached to the vine and the cucumber grows into it. We trim hdges into shapes we like (whether elaborate scultures or just well-manicured squares), bonsai tree growing is a famous Asian discipline that involves moding the shape of a growing plant, people do things all the time with the way trees grow around things, people trane rose and other types of vines to grow in certain ways and in certain shapes...there's nothing "wrong" with that sort of thing at all.
