Yes, but I now turn it off at night. The ice cubes dropping can be rathering loud and scary when I'm alone....oh yeah and the water refilling. I'm just a scardy cat

No. I want one though. We have a circa 1970's fridge, so we don't have that option. Especially one of those shnazzy ones built into the fridge. I love that you get to choose between crushed ice and cubed ice. Gosh, what a boring life I lead, when something like that gets me excited.

We have a Sub Zero refrigerator and yes, it makes ice all by itself...amazing! Great for lazy f*ckers!

I have one; it came with the apartment. But the ice is always dirty, and you have to wash it off before you use it, so I just don't use ice. It's a nasty concept. If the ice is dirty on the outside, I can just imagine what's on the inside of the ice.....

Yeah, but we don't have a water line hooked up to it yet. So, really, I don't.

No, but I do have a blender with "ICE-CRUSHING POWER". Exciting! I have never used to to crush ice though It seems the ice maker thing is mainly an american thing. You don't see many over here.
