As far as classical goes, Beetoven, I love everything of his, and his story is amazing, the meanings behind his peices are just as moving as the music itself. Present day, James Horner absolutely. I love everything of his as well and he's had a lot of things that are universally loved.

I forgot! John Williams kicks butt too! His music from Star Wars and other movies are just so inspiring, captivating, and just outright impressive!

I'm playing a really fun Beethoven quartet right now. I love Tchaikovsky and Sibelius.

Oh- and Gershwin is kind of fun for more modern stuff. With some exceptions, I'm pretty biased. I like the ones that write good stuff for violins. :)

I love listening to Beethoven, but to actually play (I play the flute) Mozart and Debussy are my favourites.

Yes, and he is the one pictured. My dear Wolfi Mozart. I'm an aspiring Mozart scholar and adore everything about him. A fascinating man living a tortured, short life. A breif glimmer of brilliance. I quite adore him and his work. How do you think I got the nickname 'Wolfgangerl'? It means 'little Wolfgang'. My cousin gave it to me, although I'm female, because I love Mozart so much.
