I've seen 4 of the movies listed and hated three of them. Dogma was awesome, though, and would win my vote even if not by default.

I don't think it's stupid at all, KikiPeepers. I didn't take it very seriously. There were good questions about religion, yet it was somewhat tongue-in-cheek because it was operating under the premise that God exists and it's the people who are screwed up.

I liked them all. Dogma was the best movie, following closely by Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, which is my favorite. Chasing Amy was the worst of them.

Dogma is the funniest, by far. I agree with ntrop, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was lame.

I liked "Chasing Amy" second best. I thought things like her screaming out the confession of sexual history at the hockey game was hokey, and the kissing in the rain thing, and a bunch of other stuff, but I thought that was the point, too- to poke fun at such cliches. Also, the way we allow jealousy to destroy our relationships was very accurate.

I can't believe nobody said "Clerks". "Clerks" is, by far one of the funniest damn movies I have ever seen. Has ANYONE else seen this movie? It puts the other five to shame. It's also where Jay & Silent Bob were born.

I thought that Dogma was his best film. It was very clever. I've seen all but one of his movies (Maeday) and I only liked that one and Chasing Amy.

Clerks. By Far. I thought Dogma was overrated. I felt that the points made in Dogma could have been made with a lot less shock value; a lot of what happened in that movie I think just happened to piss people off, not to make a point.

I love all 5 of the Jay and Silent Bob movies... Dogma is my fav, then clerks, then chasing amy, then mallrats, then jay and silent bob. the only reason that one is last is bc there's no real "point" to the movie, just making fun of everything. still, they're all great! also, i've heard of another movie that he did, called "vulgar", but have never seen it. anyone else ever heard of it?
