Yeah, I see what you mean, but also as technology advances, don't we also find ways of defending ourselves?

Yes. I can imagine a day when you can buy a small nuclear bomb on the black market that can fit in a briefcase and can easily be set to detonate whenever you want, all for a couple of thousand dollars. Technology always gets easier to use and cheaper to buy. But fortunately defensive measures usually keep up with technology.

it just becomes yet another way to attack others. not so much as more open. seems to me people are always and will always try to harm others.

Well, there's job security at Microsoft for anyone who can predict the next hacker attack, I guess. The pace at which the info age/technology changes is mind boggling, and it does present problems, but also lots of opportunities too. It's all good.

Because of technology you are more likely to find a virus on your computer or be wiped out by something you never saw coming like a supervirus or ICBM. On the otherhand, you're less likely to be clubbed to death or stoned.

The advances of techonolgy bring both good and bad things. We as a society are to blame if more bad things come out of it.

Of course...it's like how I would be scared to get in a fight because I am not a very muscular person and doubt my fighting skills. But if I had good skills and some muscles I would be more willing to stand up to a fight, if the situation came around.
