18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Wednesday 7/30/03 - 2:48:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
Kevin Costner as Robin Hood was the worst ever. Nothing else comes close.
18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Wednesday 7/30/03 - 2:49:45 PM EST (GMT-5)

18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Thursday 7/31/03 - 12:01:35 AM EST (GMT-5)
Brad Pitt in Snatch. Did anyone understand a word he said in that movie?
18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Thursday 7/31/03 - 6:28:48 AM EST (GMT-5)
But that was the point, Mike.

I've just watched the new movie of Nicholas Nickleby. Great cast except the lead who was CRAP! So crap I've even forgotten his name, but his "English" accent was diabolical - nowhere near English; in fact nowhere near anything - it was this kind of hybrid of nigerian/swedish. Why didn't they just get an English person to do it?!
18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 8/19/03 - 3:58:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
Oh, but Michael Caine in The Cider House Rules...classic
18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 8/19/03 - 4:02:47 PM EST (GMT-5)
Micheal Caine comes from Bermondsey and says

Stop chuckin' them bloody spears at me.

18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 8/19/03 - 4:06:11 PM EST (GMT-5)
Meryl Streep should be in there for her atrocious Australian accent in...that movie about Lindy Chamberlain. Damn, what was it called?
18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 8/19/03 - 4:06:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
I still don't know why Pete Postlethwaite is up there. His accent was very interesting and seemed to fit his somewhat sinister and mysterious character well. And as ohlefty points out, his origin is indeterminate.
18 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 8/19/03 - 4:09:50 PM EST (GMT-5)
He was trying to do a Pakistani accent and failed.
18 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Sunday 8/24/03 - 6:49:42 AM EST (GMT-5)
Josh Hartnett in Blow Dry should've been number one.
It was painful to watch his attempts.
Half the time you couldn't even hear what he was saying, seemed he was trying to hide his attempts..
18 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Sunday 8/24/03 - 6:53:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
I definitely agree with Heather Graham in From Hell. One minute she was English of indeterminate region, the next roosterney and then she was attempting a thick Irish brogue that was dangerously close to the Lucky Charms guy.
18 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Sunday 8/24/03 - 5:30:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
I can't believe no one's mentioned any of the boys in "Newsies".
18 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Wednesday 9/3/03 - 5:49:05 AM EST (GMT-5)
According to Redfoot the Fence, Kobayashi is a "Limey". This is not, obviously, the accent he is going for in the film, though.
18 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Wednesday 9/3/03 - 5:53:04 AM EST (GMT-5)
Keanu Reeves from Bram stokers, terrible, raised a chuckle though.
