A couple...The White House, the Capitol, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, the Washington Monument. We have lots and lots of white marble columns here.

I think here the capital building is probably the only one known worldwide. Well we have the Principal Financial building too, it's the tallest building in between Chicago and LA.

We have McDonald's, Burger king, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, etc...you cannot get much more famous than that...they are known world-wide.

Nothing universally known, but the baseball park where Bull Durham was filmed is here, Duke University's Cameron Indoor Stadium (the greatest college basketball arena in the land), and the conglomerate of buildings of Research Triangle Park.
