Growing up with 'Uncle Walt' ( Walter Cronkite ) ...Brokaw seems the most trustworthy..tho Jennings can come over for coffee anytime he wants!

Tom Brokaw sure thinks so. But I will take Shepard Smith anyday.

I always liked the old Tom Brokaw skits on SNL. However, I have a few qualms about agreeing that Mr. Brokaw is indeed the favorite without any knowledge given about who took the poll, how many were asked, etc. Also, the sons-of-bitches all say the same thing, so I don't think it matters. Its not like the government feeds these guys different info for different networks.

22% is not a majority. 22% for means 78% against.

my favorite is Peter Jennings. but probably the most straightforward, get-down-to-the-facts guy is Lehrer. (lol @ the Geraldo comment) but we all know that none of them can ever compare to Norm Macdonald, the best news anchorman of all time.

Tom Brokaw has a voice, delivery, and style that sounds arrogant and affected to my ears. Just a little too roostery for me.

Roostery is funny! You know what actual word I mean that should be allowed, but the word censors can't discriminate well and throw out everything. The Puritans are still strong in America I see.

I prefer Rather, but I have nothing against Brokaw. goman: he took 22% of the vote on who's the most trustworthy. It wasn't a question of wheather or not you considered each person trustworthy, it was a question of whom you considered to be the MOST trustworthy. Brokaw had the most votes for him (22%), so therefore he was in the majority.
