Maybe a little eyeliner, but that's even far-fetched. I have better things to do with my money, like liposuction away about 20 pounds.

AAAAGGHHHHHH! No way! What I like now, I probably won't when I am 60. Change is a part of life. It drives our existance! Why would you ever want the same makeup for eternity?

No, there is so much risk involved in that - plus sometimes I like to go without makeup, with the tattoo stuff you pretty much have to wear all other makeup or else it would look bad. I saw a thing on a court show once about a woman who wanted lipliner tattooed on and now she's totally messed up. The lady that did it put too dark a color on, and it looked like a 2-year-old tried to stay within the lines. She went back to have it fixed and the lady made it even worse ... she then went to a bunch of other plastic surgeons and they said if they tried to fix it, she may lose tissue from her mouth and they may make it worse. So now she has these swollen lips with like this dark brown liner on, and she said she has to touch up her lipstick about once an hour to keep herself looking somewhat normal. There's no WAY I'd go through that just to save a couple extra seconds in the morning...

19 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Tuesday 4/8/03 - 2:37:22 AM EST (GMT-5)
umm...No. I rarely wear makeup so I don't need it to be tattooed on my face.

My mom got her eye liner done a couple of years ago. It looked good at the begining but it faded so much you can hardly see it any more. She says that it's not worth the money or the pain!
19 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 5/11/03 - 11:12:10 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, styles change all of the time.
19 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 5/11/03 - 11:49:06 AM EST (GMT-5)
I would never wear make up except as needed if I were an actor and I would never ever get a tattoo.

This is seems to be growing in popularity, but I just find it disturbing. Besides, styles change.
19 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 5/11/03 - 12:17:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
I change my makeup everyday, one day I want eye liners the next day I don't same applies for lipstick, I can't have it all tattooed on.

I am glad my mother didn't get her eyebrows tattoo'ed in the 50's and 60's style when they were ridiculously high and thin.
19 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 5/11/03 - 1:13:28 PM EST (GMT-5)
my friends mom had her eyebrows done like 20 years ago and the ink turned green over the years. Im sure they have better ink these days though. I would definetly get eyeliner tattood on but..Id rather just draw it on every morning and save myself from the pian.

Keep in mind "permanent makeup" isn't really permanent. Not from what I've read in the last year or so, at least. Because your skin is constantly regenerating, the tattooed makeup lasts a few months at most. Could be because they're making the inks so they'll eventually fade (acknowledging zombie's post).

Maybe a few years, it's been a while since I read up on it.
