Evolution-wise, who is the superior species: humans or insects?
Think about it, insects can survive a nuclear holocaust, everything we`ve tried to do to kill them off has failed, they`ve always come back stronger and better adapted to the things we try to stop them. In the end which species is really superior?
Neither one is really mroe evolved. They are jsut better suited to their environment than the other. Insects are oppurtunists, making the best of a situationa dn environment. Whereas humans are changers, changing the environment to have it best suit them. There are amny cases that could cause one or the other to die off, it's just a matter of finding it.
I agree with dracino insects are more efficient at many things that humans are not(communicating, feeding)and thats just a few that we(humans)can't even begin to grasp, plus they can fly too. And that would be real cool.
If "social insects" (bees ants termites etc.) have almost a collective consiousness... if THEY had evoloved even a barely rudementery intellegence tomarrow, they concqour the planet by monday... the concept of a collective is so powerful that it is almost impossible to imagine...
