I still say they're lucky if THAT happens to them. They get mugged and killed all the time down here.

If those committing the crimes against the illegals are US citizens they should be subject to the full recourse of the law.

I just don't know where I stand on this. On one hand, it's awful to think people are harming illegal immigrants - either by physically hurting them or taking advantage of them. But at the same time, American citizens are having crimes committed against them as well, and I just feel that's where our resources should be focused. If they aren't supposed to be here in the first place and are committing a crime by coming, should we really worry about crimes committed against them? As human beings we worry about it, because most of us have a heart. But should the government legislate morality? Hmm ... anyway the reason I'm here is there is a new article about a program set up to help illegal immigrants in Kansas City. Kind of interesting, here's the link

Of course illegal aliens are still people. Arapist or child molester will rape a legal citizen just as well as an illegal one. Just because they fled the injustice of their country, doesn't mean they should meet the same fate everywhere they go.

Listen to her, people, you're saying that if someone robs and illigal alien, it isn't the same thing as if someone robbed a "legal".

A U.S. citizen does not have the right to commit a crime against anyone, regardless of whether the victim is American or not. So, yes, the U.S. government should pay attention to crimes committed against illegal aliens. Murder, assault, rape, robbery or any other crime will never justified by the law.

I saw a statistic that suggested there were at least as many illegal Canadians in the States as illegal Mexicans. But Mexico is proving to be a better friend to the USA than Canada is.
