I managed to ask my astronomy teacher if I could bring it to watch in class. Only one other classmate likes it, but the others just talk over it. They always F*ing do that! I hate them cause they have no respect for good movies!

I had a question on my Human Sexuality final about this movie today! I had never heard of it before, but now I'm interested to see it, since it's come up twice in the same day...yeah, I believe in fate like that.

Bud Cort never did any other acting? Wow, that is sad. I thought the underlying plots in this movie were fantastic. Like Maude having those numbers tattooed on her arm.

FINALLY saw this today after years of having it recommended to me by a friend. My goodness. I don't even know how this movie made me feel. It was just amazing. I'm definitely going to have to watch it again, though, because I feel like I missed out on some subtleties that I am just now remembering.

This is my favorite movie of all time!! It's true, you have to watch it more than once to get it all. I love Cat Stevens too, and just bought his "best of" cd. Anyone who hasn't seen this definitely should.

Aw, this is so sweet.
I think my favorite thing about it is the suicides and his mother's reaction to them. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at a movie.

Actually that's attempted suicides(I'm sure you know that, but maybe for people who didn't see) and I don't even know if you could really call them that. I don't think he really had any intention of killing himself. I think he was just trying to scare his mother. He was pretty stupid, though. It never fazed her, so I don't know why he kept trying.
I like how his mom kept trying to fix him up and the only girls he got were these ditzes. My drama teacher always cracked up when the one girl slips up when she's walking.

If you want to sing out, sing out,
If you want to be free, be free
Cause there's a million things to be.
One of my favorite movies ever.
The soundtrack isn't too bad, either
