It's an ok movie but I bet the book is probably much better (even though i've never read the book I somehow know). I imagine this movie was pretty controversial for its time, wasn't it? It's definitely interesting. I love watching it to hear the accents and see the 60s styles.  haha |

Yeah the accents, I forgot about that. Some of it was hard for me to understand. I didn't even know there was a book.

i thought it was a great movie (sidney deserves the reputation that he has) and apparently the song "to sir with love" was big in my parents time |

It was a hit in my sisters time, I still like it today I would like to find it cheap somewhere so I can add it to my library of tapes and DVD's. Running or ran out of space actually.

I love this movie, too! I always get that Petula Clark song stuck in my head and think of this movie. It makes me cry everytime. "Those school girl days of writing tales and biting nails are gone..."
