oh and the salt thing at the end. the salt is there to keep out bad spirits.. so if you eat it, bad spirits will get into the restaraunt until they change the salt.

Assassin_963, you're totally right about sushi. It's just good eatin' :)

Though I prefer white tuna, salom, or octopus over shrimp.

I laughed SO HARD! Of course ITS A JOKE! but the fact americans (or any others non japanese culture) think is true is hilarious!

I did the same to foreign friends :P I told one he had to say "Sacre bleu!" before the diner to show that he was appreciating what my parents did for him. Lets say it was quite funny.

I took the prank from a asian friend who actually told me i had to hold the chopstick in my left hand, the hand of the heart, to eat asian food. Was a mess :P

Some stuff was true and thats where its get confusing. In japanese tradition you cant serve yoursefl sake, you friend serve it for you, so if you are too drunk they stop serving you :P

But I can just see someone get on the ground and eat salt. Thats just hilarious!

*Note down the jokes and be sure to play them on friends*
You dont want me as a friend ^^

"Taisho always have a secret personal history. ...You should never ask about this." is spoken whilst "taisho" is whiping a sharp knife with a semi sinister look on his face. hint hint.

Not to mention that sushi master takes the napkin used by the customer, then rubs the counter, then his face and finally his knife. That's what tipped me off :D
