Last two days, many things falling off tables, etc when they're not on the edge. Hardware moving on a dresser no one's touching. Something just fell in the kitchen and my cat ran in here scared.

I'm not really frightened nor do I Believe in ghosts but I have no explanation for the sheer amount of inexplicable noises and things moving around here.

If a ghost can move a brass handle, then pick up a frickin pen and write something.

Earthquakes?

These are from the last day. Anywhere near you?
2 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Sunday 11/4/18 - 11:44:04 PM EST (GMT-5)
Or maybe you have a gas leak.

No earthquakes and no gas leak.

Handles keep flipping up and down without me touching this dresser and I hear them when it happens.
Spooky.

Maybe your cat is trying to open the drawers.

I've probably been bumping into the handles and raising them up and getting spooked when gravity knocks them down. Sorry, fictional ghosts.

It was those meddling kids!

Did you know that Amazon has a good return policy on clothing and will let you try on clothes and return them easily?

This freaks me out to where I wouldn't want to buy clothes from there. At a regular store, yes, gross people can try on stuff in fitting rooms.

There's something about other people using clothing in their homes that freaks me out. What if it's a weirdo who rubs the clothing all over their naked bodies and wipes their butts with them? Or something.

As someone who buys used clothes, that doesn't really cross my mind or bother me much.

Now if I was a woman, I'd be creeped out by guys ordering women's clothing, rubbing their junk all over it, and sending it back.

Yes, that's what I'm picturing.

And I'm okay with thrift store clothing, etc. Maybe people did weird things in the clothes at some point, but oh well.

It's just the amazon possible perv situations that worry me.

F*cking creepers, man.

I think that if someone wants to buy a sexy dress and do mock satanic rituals and day long tantric masurbation sessions to an Enya soundtrack, they have the right.

But, like, don't return the clothes.

The difference between buying used clothing and buying new clothing that may have had someone's junk rubbed all over it, is I can wash my thrift store clothing as soon as I get it home. You wash an amazon shirt and it's yours.

I don't buy clothes online. Just sayin'
2 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 11/5/18 - 11:05:15 PM EST (GMT-5)
Right, surely they can't wash the returned clothing and don't discard them.

Fitting rooms are similar in that the clothing is briefly worn by other people but I think I trust people to be better behaved in a semi-public place.

I suspect people are bad and do not follow the "wear underwear while trying on swimsuits" rule, though.

I tried to do that try it on them return it amazon thing but there is a TON of fine print.

I bought a pair of maternity jeans through amazon. I more or less wore them every day.

Don't y'all wash new clothes before you wear them?

I work at a place in the country, and it’s really dark in the parking lot. Sometimes when I’m getting off my shift I feel like I see something move in front of me. My first thought is always ghosts.
2 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Tuesday 11/6/18 - 2:14:46 AM EST (GMT-5)
like. i'm stressed and i'm distracted and i'm tired, but i just get the feeling that the pitch black in front of me kind of changes a bit and it seems like there's something passing by. maybe you can just see wind at night.

I generally don't, tbh, but if I buy clothes at a thrift store, I do.

I always do. But the point is that if you're getting them from amazon to try them on and possibly return them, you can't wash them first. If you decide you like them, then you can wash them, but you've already tried on potentially gross clothes.
2 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Tuesday 11/6/18 - 1:24:57 PM EST (GMT-5)
Just give the crotch a good sniff before you try em on and call it a day
2 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Tuesday 11/6/18 - 1:25:10 PM EST (GMT-5)
Wear a body stocking, like a morphsuit maybe?, underneath what you try on
Then you don't get gross stranger's junk germs on you AND you get an excuse to wear your morphsuit on like a random tuesday afternoon
2 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Tuesday 11/6/18 - 2:59:03 PM EST (GMT-5)
But then do you not try on thrift store stuff?
