I guess not all parents break the news to their child about Santa.

I was in the doctor office waiting and had a random conversation with a lady. I told her about my animals and she told me her son was 12 and he always wanted to ride a horse. He spoke up and said he was going to get all A's next school year because his mom told him Santa would bring him a pony ride to his backyard if he did well in school.

I probably shouldn't have asked him if he believed in Santa because his mother gave me dirty looks afterward, but I couldn't help me. He replied saying yes and I immediately reply "What type of cookies do you leave Santa .... and what's your address?"

Needless to say..the lady relocated to the other side of the waiting room.

Come on...12? REALLY?!

I figured out about Santa when I realized Santa had the same handwriting as my parents.

But I still pretended I believed in Santa because I thought I'd get more presents as long as they thought I believed. hahaha

I'm amazed by how immature some 12 year old people are...
I always assume 12 year olds are...not as...young...as..they actually are...

Recently I taught this 12 year old boy at work...
He had giant messy handwriting and this little bag that had animalssss LIKE GIRAFFES all over it and he talked like a 7 year old.

He was all innocent and stuff. I bet he believes in Santa and wants a pony.

I figured out Santa was my dad when I hit him over the head with a baseball bat, for touching my mom inappropriately...Ironically, I was looking out for dad.

My friend figured it out when he saw his parents lighting a fire in the fireplace on Christmas eve.

That, or he had Auschwitz flashbacks.

HAHA, I have a cousin who still believed in Santa when he was 14. His mom finally had to tell him so that he wouldn't get made fun of by his friends.

Dude's a dumbass though (still) so that's definitely why.

I find it funny looking back on when I believed in Santa and with the knowledge now that it was actually my parents.

Like one time my sister and I got up really early and dad came down and was like "Look! Santa drank most of our bottle of whiskey last night! HA!" and my sister and I were like "Oh no! What if Santa was drunk riding the sleigh?" Then dad insisted that Santa doesn't drink whiskey to get drunk, it's to stop his belly from getting cold, and that the last houses probably didn't leave out any so that's why he drank all of ours.

Or putting out some biscuits and dad being like "Wait, what ones are you putting out? Nah, Santa doesn't like those ones."

I would honestly have to say the fact that I inquired about his address, but whatever.
