Falc: Bren stayed home from school because he wasn't well this morning at all. Throughout the day, he felt better, so he and I went for a walk. We shuffled every single pile of leaves we could find. It was a really nice time spent with him. And yes, the sound and smell of leaves is awesome. It was snowing during our walk, too.

Hot cocoa with fluff spooned on top would make that perfect day have a perfect ending

I'm not sure about 4 dollar scripts at CVS. But I do believe it's a good idea that you continue to check around for another pharmacy.
BTW, I love how they gave you a $50 coupon for a screw up that could have been MAJOR!!

Falc, we had hot chocolate and donuts!

This IS America

yvetterene-the look on the pharmacists face told me what I needed to know-he turned so white his coat looked grey

And I have a feeling he will be giving notice-he has a close call-as did I-I didn't have the heart to push it-

if he had been flippant or patronizing, it might have ended differently.....I think.....but I am happy with the warning and the thank you-acknowledging your error is something to be encouraged, so it makes the person recheck everything, because what if I had taken it-

Which makes me wonder if the person who 's meds I had, have mine or they got that order right?

Wow, I didn't think about that. I don't think accidentally taking anti-inflammatory's is as bad as taking a seizure medication. I'm no doctor though.

On the side of my son's pill bottles, it tells me what they look like "slender white capsules with ### "
Or something like that. I get his from CVS, too, but only because his insurance covers it 100%.

I learned that it's always best to actually make sure the car door is completely open before attempting to get in. In doing so, you will avoid a concussion and embarrassment.

I have a headache.
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Monday 11/10/08 - 4:21:10 PM EST (GMT-5)
yvetterene-yeah, but is the person getting seizures because the medicine is for something else?

Cindy_the medicine was the same shape and color-just different in size-these were really small-you needed an eye loup to even read the numbers-and when I did, yeah, my jaw dropped-

You know, Stephen King should use this sometime as a short story-wrong meds, interaction and then BAM-something evil lurks in a house-

And watch out for Power window Head!

It's when you are driving along and the window is down-it's starts to rain or whatever and you put the window up as your hair is flying out the window- and SUDDENLY, your head makes a marked list to port as the window seals your hair in the door
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Monday 11/10/08 - 4:23:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
Haha, my hair isn't that long, but the warning has been duly noted.
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Monday 11/10/08 - 4:23:50 PM EST (GMT-5)
Kay, you know what I always do? When I get it, a gust of wind always takes my hair up and I shut the door. Then, as I reach for my seatbelt, I realise my hair is closed IN the door.
Ouch.
And you'd think I'd learn after the first 100,000 times, but nooOOOooo.

How funny, Falc. Same thing!
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Monday 11/10/08 - 4:26:27 PM EST (GMT-5)
Haha! Great minds and all, right ladies?

I just remembered the time my friend got her hair stuck in the car door while she was getting out... and she locked the door and accidentally dropped her keys down the sewer grate before she noticed! I felt so bad, but I was laughing SO hard! So was she, though... through her agonized groaning.
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Monday 11/10/08 - 4:32:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
LMAO!

I have also locked my hair in a car door when it was braided-I went to walk and stopped SUDDENLY like I had a brilliant idea-

Luckily the braid was long enough for me to turn around and unlock-hey I didn't have an eletronic lock on my car
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Monday 11/10/08 - 4:39:03 PM EST (GMT-5)
Haha. My hair will probably never get to be that long! It's the longest it's ever been right now, because I want to be able to do something with it for the wedding... and even now, it's only at my shoulders.
13 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Monday 11/10/08 - 4:42:42 PM EST (GMT-5)
How about a french braid tucked under?

I despise and loathe all the Silenc of the Lambs sequels, well, actually, I think we should call 'em knockk offs.

Why didn't you try the anti-seizure thing? maybe a good buzz, now you'll never know and some schmuck is jobless...

You can f*ck with them if you're giving them to someone else. Someone whom you dislike.
