Happening next Friday

Hopefully this means that UK deaths will begin to tumble because I am in the 6th highest risk group.

They haven't started vaccinations here yet...I'm sure I'll be a while getting one...I'm not essential or anything

not sure when we're getting ours but definitely need to get the healthcare workers vaccinated first.

I'm in tier 6.

A few guys I was in the army with got invites this week too.

It seems like the most vulnerable people have been invocated but the level of deaths remains high in the UK compared to elsewhere. We are down to the levels in April now and seem to be reducing rapidly.

they said two weeks for teachers last week in orange county so hopefully they stick to that schedule.

my dad got his first jab today too.

wife is getting hers on march 2, i'm getting mine march 9. not sure what the side effects will be or how long they will last but we scheduled them a week apart in case one of us gets unlucky.

my parents get theirs this week since they're over 65.

that's good. i feel bad for my sister and her husband, and my brother since they're non-essential workers and have no underlying health conditions. they'll be among the last to get it.

By then no one else will have it.

I'm in tier 1b but still haven't had shot. Then again. I still have the antibody to COVID

my nephew had a fever and mirgraine for about 24 hours but felt fine after that...just the usual sore arm.

so my parents got their vaccinations and told us they both had a fever overnight the day they got the first shot of their vaccinations. my dad is relatively healthy for someone about to turn 70 but my mom has had issues with her weight in the past and is type 2 diabetic, thankfully controlled. so hopefully all things work out for my wife and i.

I got my first dose in December and my second in January. I'm sad that there is a one dose now.

i was hoping my parents got the one dose so it would be over with but they go in next week for their second. wife is scheduled for the 23rd for the second and mine is the 30th.

if my parents end up getting side effects again at least they're prepared for it this time around.

I never had any side effects. That probably doesn't help, but I didn't have any problems.

You aren't dead, so I guess that's a good sign.

i've heard stories that the second dose has worse side effects than the first. my wife actually didn't have any complications but I'm crossing my fingers on this one.

I’m eligible starting at 8 o’clock tomorrow morning.

There’s a Walgreen’s across the street so I just made an account there.
