I think it`s been forever since i`ve slept. I can`t clearly remember an actual occurance of closing my eyes and ceasing movement, and opening my eyes and stretching to wake up. My second wind is days behind. I am as a marionette, suspended from the strings of stimulants. As my thoughts lose their coherance and roam about the world, a detached part of myself remains behind to observe the body`s movements. Free of the burden of conscious thought, the body moves as it was meant to, flowing and liquid. Familiar faces pass by unrecognized, and the details emerging in the sharp relief of a strangers face as I glide past make him seem to me a lifelong friend. | | dammit! there's a movie that i want to watch, but can't remember the title of. it's about two families. . .one greaser, the other straightlaced, and they have a competition between the family bands. IMDB hasn't helped a damn bit, and google keeps turning up sh*t about wayne's world. |

My question: is it appropriate for me to offer to pay the bill, even though she was the one to make the invitation? the g/f's father is in Gaza right now, otherwise i'd probably let him pay. in this case, it will be just the g/f, her mother, and myself. |
