So yeah, went back to Denver last weekend for my grandfather's funeral. It was a bummer to lose him, but he had a nice long life. He wasn't the same guy after losing his wife two years ago. While there, my brother in law was out sick. Since then this virus has spread like wildfire throughout the family. Angi and I both have it now, and lemme tell ya, parenting two kids is difficult, but doing it when both are sick? Super-fun times! Two journals in ten days? Damn, call me a journal whore. The trip to Colorado was nice. Got to visit my grandfather a bit which was cool. His alzheimers has gotten pretty bad, but there were some moments of clarity in there from time to time. Even though the kids won't remember it, I'm glad they got to see him one last time too. Had a chance to meet up with catchall, cpayne, and snow baby (super old skool YTer who doesn't post much) for lunch yesterday. It was an awesome time, and all of 'em were totally cool. Catchall had to duck out early to take some mysterious FBI phone call or something, so sadly he wasn't able to be included in the picture afterwards (I'll have to upload it in a couple of days). The dude was totally cool though. Just as smart as he comes off on YT.

Rocky mountain high.....Colorado - Mood:Good

Geez, it's been nearly two months since I've made a journal. It coincides with the busiest two months of the year at work, but I still feel like a YT-slacker. Hopefully the newsletters will start up again soon. I think I might have enough free time again to do 'em anyway. So to take a bit of time away from the work stress, we're headed to Denver for a four day weekend on Thursday. Should be great seeing family out there again. Plus as a super awesome YT bonus, we're having a mini-YT-gathering with CPayne and Catchall. I know you're jealous.
