Yes, I am the perpetual student - BA in English, Master`s in Social Work, and a Master`s in English Lit. Currently I am in the third year of my PhD program in English Literature at SUNY-Stony Brook. I feel so privileged. My current research interests include cultural studies, American Southern gothic literature, disability studies, and psychoanalytic criticism. Right now, I`m bogged down with too much reading, too little time, and too many student papers to grade. However, life is fairly grand for this partially blind chick and her super cool guide dog sidekick. Life`s too short to dwell on the trivial.
