question for brits - Mood:Good
Sunday December 10 20171:00:44 PM |
or people who have traveled in the uk
would you rather see windsor castle and bath in one day, or would you rather skip windsor and spend more time in bath?

the first leg of the tour hits stonehenge no matter what which i do want to see
and it sounds like if you see windsor, you barely get to see anything of bath

i've heard nothing but good things of bath
the tour is also $70 less if you skip windsor, so i'm leaning towards skipping it, but if you guys tell me windsor is absolutely a must see then i'll have to reassess

met my long lost cousins today - Mood:Good
Friday November 24 20178:12:57 PM |
i can't remember if i mentioned this on yt yet, but we recently found out that one of my uncles had illegitimate children with some lady 40 something years ago because of ancestry.com

if you send your dna in, they'll match you up with other family members who've also sent dna in and they matched up with my cousins

there's a lot more to the story and i'm not gonna get into all that, but it was really cool seeing them and how much they look like and kind of act like my family

of course because my family is kinda crazy, every single person was there to meet them
there were over 40 people and i imagine that was overwhelming, but they handled themselves pretty well

i got along real well with one of them and i hope we get to see more of them in the coming years
it was a pretty sweet thanksgiving treat

how was yours?
