I'm ready for the last week of my life to have never existed. - Mood:Good
Monday April 08 20137:04:59 PM |
Adam hopped a fence into the ground last Monday evening.

He endured a shattered wrist, a fractured elbow and received 5 stitches in his forehead.

Concussion symptoms appeared Wednesday afternoon, after his appointment with the Orthopedist who was nice enough to prescribe him Prednisone for the poison ivy rash.
I watched him rapidly lose nearly all cognitive ability on our ride back to the ER where he was given medication that conveniently nullified the effectiveness of his steroids.

He had surgery on his wrist today for ortho implants.

His poison ivy is getting worse and hes still having sporadic bouts of dizziness.

Applications pending for financial medical assistance and food stamps.

I've never felt so drained.
Or so fortunate to have such an awesome support system.
