My parents gave me a beautiful white gold crucifx for my confirmation a couple of years ago. Last Christmas, it went missing and I was heartbroken I didn't tell my parents though. So last week I was doing the flwers for harvest festival at church and I was putting flowers on a high up windowsill. I had to go on my tiptoes and kinda shove the flowers up and my hand felt something metal... So I got a ladder, climbed up and got it! I'll let you guess what it was...

I got fired from my job at the flower shop. Then I went and made these at the church for harvest festival. Pascal candle Had to do 2 of these, one at each side of the rood screen Rubbish picture of the alter piece There were only 2 of us able to go and do the flowers so it took ages. But the church looked absolutely amazing. The end

I just booked tickets for me adnd my mates to see Rachmaninov's 3rd Piano Concerto at the Usher Hall. I'm unusually excited! Got the front row of the upper circle. The accoustics are awesome up there!

My iPod mini kepy fu*king up so I sent it away so I could find out what was wrong with it. Turns out it needs a new hard-drive at £70. The repair warranty is only 3 months so is it worth getting a new hard-drive or should I just get a new iPod?

So I was helping out at this science roadshow, taking 2nd years around and explaining how the stuff worked. There was this awesome thing where you stood inside a bagel shaped tray and you could make a bubble cylinder around you. I was demonstrating it and there was a guy inside. The bubble popped and he got splashed a bit and he just went nuts! He jumped out and pushed me and yelled "Why the fu*k did you do that? I'm gonna fu*king kill you!" and he was punching and kicking me. This guy was like a foot shorter than me so I just said "look, if you don't stop acting like an arse, I'm gonna force feed you that bubble mixture" ctnd.

I just had to do a load of washing in a hurry because my brother couldn't be bothered to put his own uniform in the wash! I just ran outside to hang it up and I called back asking him to close the door, he was just sitting at his computer. He just yelled back "no! You're being lazy!" So I dumped his clothes on the ground, went back, slapped him and said "Lazy?! Do your own washing tard!" I think 12 years worth of him being an idiot finally got to me.

Some of you may know that I have a 3 year old foster sister. Well... had. Social work have decided that her mother is now capable to look after her full time so we are no longer needed. We only had her at weekends but after 2 years, you get pretty damn attatched. I cried for hours. It's like loosing a real sister...

I just got back from the hospital ... I was at orchestra and we are playing the theme from Pirates of the Carribean. There is a bit in my part where you have to go into 7th position!!! I have broken my wrist twice already and I just couldn't stretch that far so I told the tutor who told me to try again. So I did it again and still couldn't manage. Then the bitch grabbed my hand and tried to force it into 7th. Then there was a big snap annd 3 hours later I get back from hospital with a broken wrist. This means no piano, organ, violin or fiddle which means that there is no way I can pass Higher music. Woop de dooo...

War Photographer In his darkroom he is finally alone with spools of suffering set out in ordered rows. The only light is red and softly glows, as though this were a church and he a priest preparing to intone a Mass. Belfast. Beirut. Phnom Penh. All flesh is grass. He has a job to do. Solutions slop in trays beneath his hands which did not tremble then though seem to now. Rural England. Home again to ordinary pain which simple weather can dispel, to fields which don't explode beneath the feet of running children in a nightmare heat. Something is happening. A stranger's features faintly start to twist before his eyes a half-formed ghost. He remembers the cries of this man's wife, how he sought approval without words to do what someone must and how blood stained into foreign dust.
