I saw TWO pairs of horses today! - Mood:Good

One pair was drawing a white and pink carriage, possibly with a pair of grooms in it. The other was being loaded onto a trailer or at leasting standing by a trailer. I also took a nice 4 mile stroll through the village. Lots of great people watching, but the sun kept getting in my eyes.

Well, I had a fun weekend! - Mood:Good

It started with a half day on Thursday. We saw Against Me! and The Cult on the waterfront by my work. The stage is right under the Skyway, so cars and trucks were driving over the bands. Saturday, I "previewed" the big art festival, got an Italian sausage and peppers and onions sammich, then saw "Prometheus." Sunday, hung out with a bunch of friends and then walked the big Allentown ArtFestival. It wasn't too hot. I got some kettlecorn and re-watched the first two Nolan Batman movies. So good.

St. Patrick`s Day weekend starts.....NOW! - Mood:Good

Grabbing some fishfry, then sleeping over at my buddys' house so we can see the parade near their house on Saturday; then Satuday night, they'll sleep over at my place to so we can see the parade near my house. I already baked two loaves of beer bread for my Irish Brunch: Beer Bread French Toast and corned beef hash. I made one loaf from Saranac's Chocolate Lager and one from Saranac's Vanilla Stout. I added cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger to make it Extra-French- Toasty.

Anyways, Tuesday, I'm driving to work, and the minivan behind has a big red nose on its grill, and it's FILLED with clowns! I'M BEING STALKED BY CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dream Journal - Mood:Good

Just took a nap.... I had a dream my dad was an arrogant surgeon played by Keith Carradine (the FBI profiler from the Trinity killings on Dexter). He was arguing with my sister and me in an elevator at the hospital. He closed the doors in the face of a pretty nurse. I then apologized and she asked if I was on Facebook and I said Yes! as the doors closed. Then I had to get to my class, so I follow Cameron from Modern Family up the elevator to the Special Materials unit; he was wearing scrubs that warned he was carrying HIV Positive Blood. So I get to my class, and it's some kind of elite training class. A guy offers me two buckets and says pick one. I pick one, thinking it's some kind of test, but he was just handing out Personal-sized Buckets of fried chicken, cranberry sauce, and cranberry colored stuffing.

Mustard Plug and Onion Rings - Mood:Good

Danced my feet off tonight. First, we went to see Mustard Plug at Mohawk Place. Flatfoot 56 opened for them. They both rocked! Then we went to Club Marcella's for some reason. Only one black midget transvestite. Too many lights and lasers and horrible music. It's like those douchy night clubs that super spies and drug king pins hang out at on TV. But I eventually convinced one of my friends to not drive drunk, even though she was wearing 5 inch heels. We got some Jim's Steak-out. I got onion rings. Yum! Now I'm eating them, typing, and drinking a big glass of milk. I SO can't wait to sleep!!!

Brain Surgery and other adventures - Mood:Good

My mom is doing great after her brain surgery....although it had to be delayed 2 days while they tested her heart. Ugh. So I missed the company picnic, but still won the 50/50 raffle. Saw the Slackers two Tuesdays ago. They rocked, and about a dozen or so friends were there. Tonight, we're seeing the Irving Klaws again. Hopefully it will be really fun again.

In one, my extended family and I were stranded on a desert island, and had to wait for one of my uncles to drive across Canada to the West Coast and then use his other boat to rescue us. We then returned to our jobs at the State Dept, where I quit being a heroin dealer in church (talk about your opiates of the masses!) for my dream aunt (a fictional woman who isn't one of my real aunts...you know how dreams are...) Oh darn! Now I can't remember that 3rd dream. It definitely had nothing to do with islands or forests... In another, we traveled back in time to cave man times, hiked thru the woods to an awesome lake and meadow, and traded I-phones for hunting and gathering rights with a nearby tribe. They liked bowing but weren't a fan of waving.
