200,000 grains of rice. I gives them! - Mood:Good
Monday June 29 200911:45:02 PM |
I just hit 100,000 on www.freerice.com for the second time! Now I have two lifetimes of happiness...

My first time I was on English ... this time math. I've been getting better at math and geography! And I've been learning Spanish and German and Italian while boning up on the French I took in high school. Plus I'm feeding starving little kids somewhere. I wonder how much 200,000 grains of rice is?

Do you play? If you don't, you should. You learn and you give. Win. Win.

I just hit 100,000 on Free Rice! - Mood:Good
Monday October 13 200810:21:06 PM |
I've been going to this site for months, just a minute or two a day, and finally hit 100,000 grains of rice donated! I have no idea how much that is but it's kind of cool. In a totally dorky way...

If you don't play, you should start! It's for a good cause and you learn too. I've been learning foreign languages and the chemistry chart and they just added a geography one where you have to name the country that I could really learn some stuff from.

Come through my window...then open yours! - Mood:Bored
Tuesday February 05 20083:40:05 PM |
...my Johari and Nohari windows actually.

I tried to change 'my homepage' in my profile to my YouTube vlog but the URL was too long I guess, it won't let me. So I'm stuck with the one I have ... but since it's been awhile and I've met so many more people since I posted these last, here they are. If you haven't added to them and you know me (or at least *think* you do - results from people online and people I know in real life are a little different ) go ahead and check it out!

If you'd like to make your own or if you already have some that you'd like others to add to as well, go ahead and post them here! These are a lot of fun...

Thursday February 27 200311:56:09 AM |
Well I found out last night I am this week's Member of the Week, and today I showed up on the question leader board ... I didn't even know I was close until AussieMike told me a couple days ago I was about to bump people off to get in the top 20!

Does this mean I've officially arrived here?

What is your ideal city? - Mood:Bored

Take the quiz here and post your results! What cities did you get? Where do you live now? Do you agree with your results? I live in Iowa but I'd love to move to Colorado some day, I think Loveland sounds lovely! I could never see myself living in the south, but Raliegh is a lovely city.
