I actually had a fully enjoyable break. Wow. I saw Against All Authority on Friday Night. Then on Saturday I saw Slither, which was hysterical, and I bought X-Men Legends II and Wild Arms 4. I haven't even TOUCHED Wild Arms yet. I'm having way too much fun with putting my enemies in a magnetic tornado. And today... I f*ckin' played X-men Legends ALL freakin' day.

Okay... So, Full Blown Against All Authority show review. - Mood:Good

At around 4:30ish, I hopped in my car and started driving to the show. It wasn't a bad drive for a 3 hour tour; and unlike that idiot, Gilligan, I didn't wind up shipwrecked. I did, however get a tad lost, as the show was sandiwched in between two other towns that looked alike and had numbered streets. However, unlike most situations, I got there well within time to catch the last two acts, and that was WITH hoofing it a couple blocks to hit an ATM. Now... PA is a weird place. Down here, there are ATMs EVERYWHERE... You can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. But in PA, I had to walk a ways to find a beer store... And THEY had the ATM... Now, weird thing about this town, Leroyme, was that I do believe that there were two town ordinances that were just clearly strange. 1) I think it was against the law to be above 6ft tall... 2) I think it was against the law to mark public restrooms. Okay, so I've been working out a lot more lately. So far so good. I don't do too well with going to the gym at all, so I exercise on my own. I'm way more concerned with "tightening up" than I am actually losing weight or bulking up. Just want some... You know... Definition, mostly in my core. I'm working my forearms a lot, too and my pecs a bit. I've found a really quality lower back exercise that's really nice. Hopefully it'll tone down those haunches on my hips that I find kind of disturbing. And of course, I'm doing quite a few crunches... I know that there's a difference in the way you exercise for toning rather than strength... But I can't for the life of me remember. Anybody remember? Also, I f*ckin' HATE cardio exercise. F*ckin' HATE it. I feel like utter sh*t after I do it in a way that would make you want to quit, too. Any tips on good cardio exercises that don't make me want to ring my own neck?

There's been a whole lot of BS drama over nothing at work, and while it's not INVOLVING ME (of course), it sure as hell is AFFECTING ME... Because it's making my trainer kirk the f*ck out and it's affecting HIS judgement. And it's not like It's easy dealing with this sh*t when he's in a GOOD mood... But it's f*ckin' unbearable when he's freaking the hell out. I mean, not to a point where we're f*cking everything up and dragging the world down to hell, but just to a point where it's a f*ckin' DRAG. Oh well, at least I'm only in for 4 hours tonight.

Then I'm going to see -(AAA)- in PA! It's going to be so awesome. I'm practically jittering, I'm so excited about it. Then after that I'm going to see Alkaline Trio & Against Me! on the 25th. Which will be really cool. I just need something to look forward to in the immediate future. Adjusting to this 4 days on, 4 days off is harder than I thought, because it's harder to be able to schedule regular events that make it easier to make the week go by. I mean, a 4 day break every 4 days SOUNDS attractive at first... But it really does boil down to "holy f*ck? What the hell am I going to do at 4AM on a Wednesday?"

My 911 calls have been sh*t as of late. My non ER calls are good... But the 911s have been sh*t, and mostly it's because I've got a trainer or two standing over me talking while I'm working in the worst kind of micro management. And I fully understand why... They're bored... But they keep telling me what to do, and then when I do it, they dock points from me because they're "feeding me the questions..." But the only thing that's killing my times is the fact that they want to look over everything before I send it and they want me to listen to them AND the caller AND type at the same time. I can do two, but not the third. It's driving me f*ckin' insane. Because it's like... Either take the f*ckin' thing over, or don't... But I've gotta find a way to deal with this, and it's driving me insane.

This whole deal is weird, but I think once I get used to it, it'll get better. Plus, I think I'm going up to PA to go see Against All Authority again in April... Which that would totally rock. I love those guys, and possibly they'll have advanced copies of the new album there for sale. I'm kinda pissed that they're changing the style of their album cover, just because the guy who used to do it practically became an institution... But the songs that they put on the Common Rider split rocked so hard that I doubt it's signaling a detrimental change to the band. But anyway, because of my training status, I think that my last day will only be 4 hours long, because I have to maintain 40 hours per work week. Beats the piss out of working 52 to make the government mandated week definition total to 40. But whatever, it's all good. Tonights going to be busy as piss. Last night was St. Patricks Day, so tonight we'll have all the leftovers from that.

So the new cross over "Whose Side are you on?"... How much you wanna bet it's essentially going to boil down to Hellfire Club vs. Apocalypse? I think so. We've seen both enemies coming up, and so far the Hellfire Club doesn't really have much of an Angle at all. Plus in todays issue of Dracula vs. Apocalypse (cue spoilers), The whole Apocalypse's family thing... Yeah, tell me that isn't the Genisis for Hellfire Club! The whole "survival of the fittest" social darwinism thing just FITS for Apocalypse to have NOT started it... And then you've got the whole "It's the ONLY F*CKING REASON TO HAVE APOCALYPSE FIGHT F*CKING DRACULA WITHOUT IT BEING COMPLETELY STUPID AND HAVING *NO* POINT" instead of it just being completely stupid and having some parts that remind me of the movie "From Hell". So I'm watching city of the living dead, right... And uhhmmm... Yeah, no f*ckin' clue what happened. First off, nobody bit anybody... Now I know that happens in zombie flicks sometimes, but let's face it... It's bullsh*t. And then like... We were bored for the majority of the movie, because it really never made any sense. I mean, at all. And then we got to the end of the movie and there was like this Underground catacomb that was where a grave was supposed to be... And this priest zombie was hatching zombies out of cacoons... And it looked kinda cool, but other than that, it was boring and didn't make any sense. Then they set them on fire and lifted the curse of the zombies, and at the end of the movie, this little boy who clearly ISN'T a zombie started running towards the female lead and just just started screaming. And that didn't make any sense.
