Apparently I`m both a nice person, and someone who breaks nearly every heart possible. I love to travel and talk to people, and listening to life stories is my hobby. I try to collect other people`s lives and share the lessons when needed. (And I`m insatiably curious.) If you`re good with words, I love you. And yes, spelling and grammar count. I`ve had a love affair with books ever since I learned to read, and nobody will ever replace that...though good letters come close! I`ve moved to Altus, OK. It`s the smallest town I`ve ever been in, but...I work on base and get to meet Canadian, Australian and British AF guys. So I still have fun. Pregnant with my second child, working on my first divorce, fallen in love for the millionth time...

I hate arguing. I really do. - Mood:Confused |

| | So why is it that sometimes I'm drawn into it nonetheless? Especially with something as (ultimately) pointless as arguing on the internet. And yes, I've seen the clever picture about this, so no need to post it. It's usually when I see an argument turn emotional, instead of logical. I HATE that. It takes all the validity out of your reasoning right there, because you obviously can't think of anything better than "but this is how you should feel!!" to back up your claims. Drives me nuts, whether it happens on the internet or in real life. On the plus side, I also remembered WHY I used to love this site so much! Besides the people, as most of my friends are gone. It's the different points of view, and most of the arguments that go on. Makes me happy. But I feel so OLD reading half the journals. |

| | Ok, so WAAAAY back I got a lifetime subscription. And the only reason I got it was so I'd have my old PMs archived ('cause I knew there was information - e-mails and such - that I'd probably lose otherwise), so I could keep them forever. And now, I haven't been on for about...2 years-ish? At least not regularly. And all the things are changed, so it looks like Myspace. (Which makes me a little sad.) And I can't look up archived PMs by author. Yes, they give you that choice, but it's a lie. Set out by THE MAN. (Or the baby, given that it's Buddy.) I can find some of them by typing random subjects...but I don't remember subjects from 4 years ago. I can barely remember what days I have to work this week! So yeah, I've PMed Buddy about it, but I was curious if anyone else had this problem, and if they knew a way to fix it. I'd love you forever! |
