When I was little, I wanted a Guinea pig sooo badly, and I begged for one everyday. I couldn't get one though because my mom said that they bite :'(

You should get a: Crested
Crested guinea pigs have one rosette on the top of their head. This is sometimes known as a crown. There are two types of crested guinea pig; English and American. The English crest is the same colour as the rest of the coat (or part of the coat if it is multi coloured) and the American crest is pure white. Crested guinea pigs make wonderful pets as long as you don't mind finding lots of little hairs on your clothes!

I don't really like guinea pigs that much. They're too timid.

You should get a: Rex/Teddy Rex guinea pigs (known as teddies in America) are a frizzy haired, cuddly looking breed. When you touch a rex you will notice that the coat has a springy texture! These guinea pigs are social and like to be petted. They are rather good with kids too.

You should get a: Satin
Satins are beautiful guinea pigs. They have very shiny (but short) coats. Some satins are now being bred with long haired varieties to make the coat look even more sleek. They make nice pets.
