Rex guinea pigs (known as teddies in America) are a frizzy haired, cuddly looking breed. When you touch a rex you will notice that the coat has a springy texture! These guinea pigs are social and like to be petted. They are rather good with kids too.

Aw! Cute! I wanted a guinea pig but im actually getting a teddy bear hamster!

You should get a: Satin

Satins are beautiful guinea pigs. They have very shiny (but short) coats. Some satins are now being bred with long haired varieties to make the coat look even more sleek. They make nice pets.
