How is that John is the only Spartan, when the other ones (both from the Spartan-II and Spartan-III programs) are stuck inside planet Onyx, like how the Spirit of Fire was stuck inside a planet from Halo Wars? |

simple if you read the limited edition of cole protocol, you'll see that, in one big final blowout, the spartans fight the Elites once again for revenge. and, once again, the spartans die. Plus ghosts of onyx is based mny years before th occurence of halo 3 |

Actually, just less then a year. 5 months. Halo 3 was in March 2553. Onyx was around November 2552, when the Spartans were stuck in the planet, if I remember correctly. But that 'big blowout'... I need to find out more about that... But the Spartans in that blowout was Gray Team (already considered missing), right?? |

true very true but it was only one battle with the elites. thus the spartans were pretty much gone by halo three. though it is said some are alive. the fact is a myth. there is some pre spartans still alive that never made it to full ranks though. your facts are correct but the "big blowout" named the "scrap on onyx" changes everything. |

Last time I've heard, during the battle on Onyx, Kurt (one of the Spartans) sacrificed himself to destroy the Covenant that was chasing Linda, Kelly, Fred, Dr. Halsey, Mendez, and the Spartan-IIIs along with some frozen inside tubes. After that, they went through a portal that lead them inside the planet. They made proper funerals for the Spartans that died in the battle, rested a bit and started finding a way out. That's the last I've heard about the Spartans. If they died, can you tell me where I can find that out or something? |

read cole protocol thats my proof. get the limited edition one with the alternate ending. cuz in the regular ending it just shows the spartans fighting the elites but no one dies. in the alternate ending, all spartans die and 5 elites are left standing. |
