I did hear this on the news the other night. And no not really. Commit 'violent' crimes, maybe. Never see too many atractive death row inmates.. but good looking folk have bad tendancies too.

He was seriously hot. If he knew me, he'd probably have killed me, because I DEFINITELY would have gone home with him.

If ugly people are more likely to commit crimes, it's probably because they feel more alienated. It's no surprise that people who are attractive tend to be more socially accepted.

'Makes sense, seeing as they may have been outcasted when young, possibly to the point of physical bullying...but I read a lot of true crime books, and I've seen a lot of hot serial killers in those black-and-white pages.

um...no...I watched a cold case files episode once about the flashlight rapist...this guy was AWFUL...they caught him, and he looked like Orlando Bloom. I'd say that this guy disproves this accusation. That's really stereotypical and shallow.

When I was younger, my theory about why all the criminals I saw were so ugly was that their badness and their crimes showed physically.

Good looking people don't need to commit crimes, the world hands them everything on a platter.

Anyway, no, I don't think this is always true, but as a general rule, less physically attractive people might be more angry about society. So maybe I'm wrong.

I've never seen a mug shot on TV of a hot person. They're always really old, or have acne, or need a hair cut...

Not because they are ugly, no. Mostly because they probably got picked on.
Oh, and mugshots are not the most flattering pictures. They make everyone look bad.

I personally think "no" but the fact is (and this is a scientific FACT) that if an ugly person and an attractive person commit the same crime, in the same area, and are the same race/economic background, all other things being equal, the ugly person is more likely to be convicted.

It's sad but true. Attractive children are also less likely to get in trouble at school for the exact same behaviors that ugly children get punished for.
