I blame the obese collective of lolicon-lovers.

It started off as a joke on 4chan, but it evolved into a real thing.

Trust me, they are real. I am one, my brother is one, my suite-mate is one, and I've been to BronyCon.

it's a good thing you don't date. telling a girl you're a sick f-ck who's into cartoon little girls and cartoon ponies would be pretttttty awkward

I think the question would be better is it was "Would you rather your son told you he f*cks stuffed toys or that he got a paper cut on his dick?"

Um... you do realize that MLP is not a sexual show, right? It's not different than liking Transformers or Batman the Animated Series, it's just a bit girly. I myself like the show, it's a pretty good cartoon and it doesn't rely on violence to create a charming and entertaining story.

MLP is as weird as 4chan users are fat

Those pictures have nothing to do with what I'm saying.

I myself find it hard to understand why they exist, and i myself am not one... but my best friend is one and hes the best damn friend in the whole world. On another note through my experience i have found that 80% of the time the people that scour the internet trying to drag down bronies (abb) are more messed up and annoying than any brony ive ever talked to
6 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Monday 12/9/13 - 2:10:07 PM EST (GMT-5)
dunno what grown men would want to do with a show that is marketed towards little girls.
6 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Monday 12/9/13 - 6:49:50 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm one!!!!! They're real, I tell ya!
6 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Monday 12/9/13 - 11:18:05 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm a teenage girl, and I like it. Yeah, it's outside of my age range, and it's really kind of overly girly (I, in general, don't care for animation that you can tell which gender they market towards within a few seconds.) But the writing's good, and it's a decent break from all of the negative, cynical TV shows out there. Sometimes I, and yes, even grown men, just want to see a show where friendship and goodness wins for once. Is that so bad?

Those are called furries, not bronies. Also, I don't think you should be making fun of what other people sleep with when we all know what your ugly mess of a gf looks like. lol

Pokeachu go out with me you mean ladytype
6 yrs ago, 7 mos ago - Wednesday 12/11/13 - 1:20:13 AM EST (GMT-5)
Meh.

Do the extremely shrill fans annoy me? Well, of course, but that's just inherent to every fandom that exists. Every fandom runs the risk of attracting obsessive fans on the fringe.

I can't really work up the energy to hate the TV show or feel superior to the people who watch it.

Real, unfortunately.

The problem is that weirdos tend to ruin many things for other people. It is possible for people to enjoy the show and collect the merchandise and not have a sexual view of it. There are people who turn it into a sexual thing and then it ruins the name for everyone else. This has been done to many groups including Bronies and Furries. What I wonder is, why do we care so much about what they do? If it makes them happy and it isn't hurting us, who cares? We all have weird things about us that others might consider strange or unacceptable. I say...if it makes you happy, do it as long as it isn't impeding upon others.
