If it's that bad, I don't finish reading it. |

I liked Great Expectations. I don't understand all the hate
I wouldn't say it's the worst, but Ivanhoe was pretty unpleasant. |

Well, my least-favorite book I've ever read was Madam Bovary, but it is a well-respected classic, that does have literary value, so I can't really say it was a horrible book. It just wasn't my style.
I don't actually know what would be the worst book I've ever read, since I'll usually stop reading a book if I decide it's really garbage, as with Twilight or the one Harlequin romance novel of my roommate's that I started to read. |

New Moon was one of the worst, but I can't honestly say it was THE worst. There's a few bargain bin young adult paperbacks in my closet that were pretty terrible. |

i lack critical discernment, or at least the kind that makes you hate stuff
i don't tend to finish books that don't interest me though |

It really wasn't even that, it was just SO transparently trying to prove a point
she might as well have been screaming in my ear "Don't you see?! DON'T YOU SEE?!?" |

The most boring book I ever read was a biography about Judge Joseph Wapner.
As for WORST book, I just never finish those....and there are many. |

Worst can mean so many different things.
Like Animal Farm and 1984 were f*ckin hard as hell to get through (although Im not sure if this is just because they were required, or because the teacher sucked, or if it was the book itself), but they were good books.
Biographies are usually quite boring. But again, thats not a book I would choose to read, so if its not my "type" of book I dont know that I can really say its bad, because Im biased.
I cant think of any books Ive read by my own choice that I didnt like but thats probably because if I didnt get into the book, I just quit reading it. |

Yes. The Bible, actually. I read about 5 pages, and then I gave up. Men living 500+ years? God asking a man to sacrifice his kid? That to me ranks with the Grimm fairy-tales. |

I love Animal Farm. I'm genuinely shocked that people didn't like it. |
