With the popularity of sites such as Facebook, is there much point any more to having high school reunions? Don't most people go to these to see who got fat, bald, married, divorced, etc? Isn't this sort of thing kept up with in a more day to day way now via sites like facebook?

I really have no interest in either of those (Facebook or class reunions) but I would think that for those who are interested, the reunion would be a great way to actually get back together and visit with those folks. Also, there's got to be some that you haven't kept up with that you'll run into at a reunion.
