I doubt I'd care enough.

And Tricsy, are you serious with this?

Oh, I have also been accused of calling someone's house and saying I don't even know what to the guy's wife.

My employer could also randomly subject me to a drug test if he thought I might be under the influence.

That's not random. If I thought someone was behaving as if they were somehow impaired/unsafe I wouldn't bother with the drug test. I'd fire them. Because they suck at their job. If you took the test and it came back clean that doesn't change the fact that you can't work safely.

And what if that person was required to operate heavy machinery as part of their job?. .. I feel safe in the knowledge that all the guys I work with, who drive trucks and forklifts at my place of work, are all subjected to these drug tests and are not allowed to work if they're on drugs. The possibility of them driving a truck through my office, out of control, is minimised.

I'm confused as to how smoking a joint on Friday after your shift effects your performance on Monday morning - or what business it is of your employer. Clearly if you're intoxicated on the job that's a problem. But that's not what a drug test tests for. Besides, we all know people who work at places that have random drug tests and use drugs anyway. Apparently it's not hard to beat the tests and/or the odds of getting one in the first place.

A better predictor of your ability to operate heavy machinery would be a full psych work-up. But not only is that much more expensive, it's also much more widely recognized as an invasion of privacy.

Considering I know no one on here or how to get into contact with their manager, I would have to say no. It's not any business I could weasel my way into even if I wished to do so.

Seeing as most of the people i talk to on YT are American I don't think I would be bothered to fly over and snitch
10 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Wednesday 9/2/09 - 7:53:00 AM EST (GMT-5)
why the hell would I care?
10 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Wednesday 9/2/09 - 11:33:55 AM EST (GMT-5)
Why should I? I don't know them, it's their business.
10 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Wednesday 9/2/09 - 12:15:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
NO homey dont play that. I rented a room from a guy who turned out to be a total, total A-hole and kicked me out for no reason. He always demanded rent payment from me and one other tenant in CASH so you know what that means. I was going to report him to the IRS in revenge but in the end i decided to turn the other cheek. But this dick really, totally deserved it.

10 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Thursday 9/3/09 - 4:00:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
Hahaha.

funny question.
10 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Sunday 9/6/09 - 2:29:16 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, because snitches get stitches.
And because I'm not a self-righteous busybody.

Perhaps aside from some logical exceptions, I don't even think employers should administer drug tests.

Those only happen every four years, around election time.

I think by then she'll have lost her job anyway.

And it'll probably be you-know-who-related, but I sincerely hope I'm 100% past that in 2012.

No. I wouldn't care enough, and I don't know where any YTers work anyway.
