I never knew what those were called! I used to get them all the time when I was younger. Man, they were NASTY. I haven't gotten them in years though. I wonder why? Maybe the pockets in my tonsils have smoothed out and aren't quite as deep?

I had two when I was really young. I remember because I could feel something lodged in my throat and one day I managed to work them out. I remember them smelling pretty awful. I've never had them since though.

hmm i get those all the time because i have enlarged tonsils with big holes/crypts in them. food gets stuck in them and i have to get it out. if not they turn into the tonsils stones. its pretty weird and gross

They do smell like death.  I didn't notice I had crypts/huge holes in my tonsils until about the fourth time I had tonsillitis.
