Yes.Even though I he's famous.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 3:53:44 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm neither sad nor happy the man died.

He lived a full life and I didn't know him personally.

16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 3:55:30 PM EST (GMT-5)
No not really. He's pretty much just a name to me.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 3:56:25 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not the least bit.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 4:00:44 PM EST (GMT-5)
I never agreed with his politics, but this isn't the point. A man has passed away and his family is grieving. This type of question shouldn't be allowed to give people scope to be banal about him.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 4:08:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
He was 93 and had been suffering horribly for at least 10. The loss of life is always sad, but inevitable, and his demise does not seem premature.
I also disagreed with his politics, but recognize that he accomplished a lot of things that made a lot of people very happy and proud.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 4:16:35 PM EST (GMT-5)
I made a Reagan profile!
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 4:21:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm not either way. He had a full life.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 5:17:01 PM EST (GMT-5)
No Not at all. Who the hell is he?
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 5:18:05 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, not really.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 5:53:47 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm sad that questions like this still get accepted.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 5:56:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
You're sad any questions get accepted, so I'm not suprised.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 6:02:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
What's wrong with this question?
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 6:07:29 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's shallow.

How many Are you sad that ___ died questions are there and doesnt it seem a lttle sad that when someone dies it's just an inspiration to some people to add another shallow question.

16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 6:08:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
I agree with bored.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 6:09:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
And No, I'm not sad at all.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 6:22:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
Dudegirl. From one Australian to another. Put a sock in it! I don't think I've seen one post from you that has contained an ounce on sense or clarity. If you really need to showcase your lack of judgement and common sense, do it in your bedroom with your friends and spare the rest of us.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 8:37:05 PM EST (GMT-5)
So put a short expiration date on such questions, boredofu.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 8:50:39 PM EST (GMT-5)
Like they did on this one.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Sunday 6/6/04 - 9:47:57 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, but not as sad as I was ten yrs ago when I learned of his illness.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 6/7/04 - 7:08:55 AM EST (GMT-5)
Bored who cares - you are not the YT police, and you don't have the right to tell people what they can and can't make questions about. Just because you hate America and questions about it doesn't mean you have the right to be an ass and so judgemental. Go cry somewhere else about your questions, everyone here is sick of hearing it. The site will never be good enough for you, so I don't know why you bother with it.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 6/7/04 - 7:11:06 AM EST (GMT-5)
And this question expires in 28 days - I'm not sure what your problem is with it in that regard. You know expiration dates are worthless anyway. Just one more thing to bitch about I'm sure.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 6/7/04 - 7:11:25 AM EST (GMT-5)
About as sad as he was for the thousands of deaths from AIDS in the early 80's. Oh, that's right, he didn't give a sh*t.
16 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Monday 6/7/04 - 7:15:58 AM EST (GMT-5)
Not particularly. The way I understand it he didn't even understand who or what he was. And, its not like he was a good personal friend or even contributing to the world in any meaningful way anymore.

Oddly, I find myself supporting Nancy (ahhh! I said it!) in her advocacy in favor of stem cell research.
