Stripping is honest if not desirable. Posting a fetus is giving misinformation which is a type of lie.

People here don't protest in front of abortion clinics...So I would object the stripping.

I wouldn't be thrilled about either of those.
The protest thing would mean that her and I were incredibly different people, with hardly any common ground, so in that way, It would upset me more.
I don't think stripping as such is by definition a bad thing. I'd be worried about the company she's keeping, and the environment she was in, but the bottom line is, if I was a woman with the right body, I might consider doing it if I needed the money.
But I'd never protest at an abortion clinic.
Either way, she's her own person, and while I might be worried, and while I might argue with her, neither would be the end of the world.

I'd have her ass if she was outside an abortion clinic, harassing people who are just doing their jobs.
And I'd have to kick my own ass, too, for raising such an idiot.

That's really hard.
On the one hand, she's showing off her body, but making money she probably needs and at least she's not getting physical (I hope) with anyone.
On the other hand, she's making women who go to these clinics feel like sh-t when she doesn't even know the full story.
I would blame myself in both cases.

Stripping, if she wants to protest something, that's her choice.

Protesting that.
I'd have some issues with that.
Stripping, I don't really care.

But it's not her choice if she wants to be a stripper?

I would frown upon the stripping, but the other choice seems more *reasonable*.

Wow, great question wisen!
Actually, I DO have a daughter around that age.
Personally, I would find protesting at an abortion clinic more objectionable. Mainly because I'm pro-choice, but also due to the fact that there are many other issues affecting us as a nation that are much more "worthy" of protesting.
Stripping, in my mind, is far less objectionable than protesting an abortion clinic. I wouldn't be happy about it, but it's her body; what she chooses to do with it is HER choice, as long as she doesn't abuse it in any way.

I'd be ashamed and disgusted at my daughter if she were harassing innocent people.
I wouldn't have a problem with the stripping at all, though. Safety is always an issue in the sex industry; but as a stripper, she wouldn't actually be having *sex* with the customers, and I'd think that an exclusive (i.e. expensive and high-class) establishment would have stringent safety regulations about what the clients can or can't do with the dancers.

Protesting.
People go through stages, and sometimes people explore themselves. I would be ashamed if my daughter stripped, but people do it.
I would have a problem with the protesting.

I wouldn't be happy about the stripping thing, but it could be that she was doing it to raise money to put herself through university or something. I'd be happier about the stripping thing than the abortion-protesting thing.

Mellow said it, as long as safety isn't an issue, the protesting would be far worse, there is nothing immoral about stripping, there is about being anti-abortion and harassing people who have enough emotional turmoil in their life.

Abortion is a real sad business, most women going thru with it will be traumatized for life, abortions are mainly the result of lack of education and lack of finances affecting the lower classes the others send their kids on vacation to Switzerland and don't need abortion laws.
If I had a daughter I wouldn't like her to be a stripper either.

It depends, is she stripping to put herself through college or is she a crack whore supporting her habit?

she can protsest all she wants, i dont care about that.
the stripping is too much though, and even though she would be over 18 and i couldnt legally do anything about it, i'd still not let her do it

How has it been established that they'll be traumatized for life?
I know women who've had abortions and don't seem very 'traumatized for life'

I would like either particularly, but the protesting would be worse for me I think. Those people don't need someone out there harassing them and putting more stress, fear, doubt and guilt on them. Stripping wouldn't be ideal either, but it is her body and as long as she was in a safe place it wouldn't be so bad.

I'm pro-choice, but she can protest all she wants. I don't quite care if she makes other people uncomfortable for expressing something she may truly believe in.
I'd object more to the stripping...just because of the nature of stripping. I'm not against women showing their bodies at all - if my daughter were a fashion model and posed nude in an editorial - I'd actually be really excited for her. But stripping? Or men's nudie magazines? I can't help that it would make me feel uncomfortable.

i would be really sad if my daughter was a stripper because the ppl that she would be around would not be respecting her. they would be using her as an object to satisfy their lusts and i know that she would deserve so much better than that. i would not hate her for it though. i would still love her. i would be happy if she was protesting for an inocent childs right to live. no person has a right to kill a child no matter how inconvienianced they might be by that childs life. that does not mean anyone should look down on someone who does have an abortion. it actually means we should try harder to show them Gods love. sorry if i make anyone mad but it really is sad to me that so few ppl realize what abortion really is, how much it hurts the mother and the child.
