The Endless River is so-so. About what I'd expect when you use leftovers that weren't good enough for [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Division_Bell] The Division Bell.
I just can't get past the feeling that this had more to do with lining their pockets than pleasing the fans.

i think it's because people have to continue to chronicle themselves once they've begun chronicling themselves and the quality of the effort is because they have passed their "moment in the sun" as they say.

I say it was GREED....even though I never heard the new album. The answer to your question is simple, if you ask yourself which is more likely.....Tribute or Greed?? Greed would be the more LIKELY choice.
